God wraps His royal robe of righteousness around you and His heart is just aching for you to live a life that He has destined you to live.
Learning to embrace who I am in Jesus and to trust Him more has been one of the most rewarding gifts I have ever received. I understood that I can’t truly love others or God if I don't love who I am.
There were so many times I asked myself, “how can I love myself without wondering what others thought about me?” I had to remind myself over and over again, “if you knew who God you made to be, you would never want to be anyone else!” God’s love is real. He loves me at my very worst, kisses my tears and holds me deeply. He never left my side, my sweet Father was just waiting for my “yes” to Him.
I love what David says in the Bible, "God my times are in your hands.” He was saying, "God I don't know what is going to happen but I know you know what's best for me and I trust you.” I’m learning to wake up everyday with this mentality & and go out expecting good things! And when the day is done, I will never go to bed disappointed because I will be one day closer to God satisfying my dreams and deepest desires. That promise changed my life. I’m saying yes to trusting Him, yes to my future, yes to letting go of everything I wanted to control and yes to the fact that, He loves me deeply. He is a good Father, my protector, my provider, my everything.
